I have to say these dreamhost guys are hip. Check out their blog at http://blog.dreamhost.com/.

I haven't had to use customer service yet, so I cannot vouch for that. I have been monitoring my uptime and have had no problems. They even have a page http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/ for serious issues. I trust these guys to be honest.
